What we do
GFC delivers community mobilization, service delivery and capacity building across public health, rights, food security, education support and environmental management.
Public health
GFC works on sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for young people, HIV testing services, malaria prevention and elimination for children and pregnant women, and mental health — through community mobilization, training of trainers and service delivery.
Human & child rights
GFC applies the human rights-based approach (HRBA) and promotes inclusiveness for children and youths with disabilities. Programmes cover child rights governance, protection and social accountability tools that strengthen engagement between duty bearers and rights holders.
Food security & agriculture
Through the GFC initiative on increased food security and the right to food and nutrition, we promote organic agriculture, support nutrition activities and strengthen household livelihoods in Mansa and beyond.
Education support
In partnership with Cheshire Home Society of Zambia and the Lilliane Foundation, GFC delivers a Child Empowerment / Education Support Programme across Luapula Province — helping children with disabilities access and stay in school.
